Union County Permitting Update

Great news! Beginning April 14th, TEC will be able to help our clients process Session Law permit packages in Union County...

"Hi Larry,

I hope you are well. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work though changes to On-site Water Protection Program processes in response to the COVID-19 health crisis and staffing limitations. It's a challenging time for everyone.

Effective Monday, April 14,2020, Environmental Health will begin accepting improvement and improvement (IP)/construction authorization (CA) applications accompanied by NC Licensed Soil Scientist documentation as per North Carolina Session Law 2018-114. Well permit applications associated with these properties or those where IP/CA permits have already been issued will also be accepted. Well and septic system repair or replacement applications and Engineered Option Permits (EOP) will continue to be processed. We will reevaluate this change in approximately 2 weeks and modify as necessary.

Again, thank you for the quality work you do and for your partnership with Union County Environmental Health." #TEC #SepticPermitting #PercTest
